The 4.5 acre Gibsons Pool is a mixed coarse fishery with a variety of species. It features carp to 27lbs, as well as tench, bream, roach, perch and pike.  

Originally Kingsbury Water Park’s first specimen carp water, Gibsons is quickly becoming a popular carp water once again. 

The bank in the middle of the pool offers the most space for siting your bivvy, and also allows easy access to the deepest water up to eight feet, although the fish will often be found on the gravel bars which extend from and link the islands. It is soft and silty in places. 

The part of the pool nearest the motorway tends to be shallower and weedier, making feeding fish more visible in this area. In summer, there are numerous sets of lily pads which provide shade, and these are always a good place to find fish.
