River Tame
Fishing at River Tame
Winding its way along the Eastern border of Kingsbury Fishery, the River Tame is available to anglers during the river fishing season. Notable catches in recent years include a specimen grayling, barbel and chub.
A stretch of over 1.5km of river is open to angling, starting by the Kingsbury Road bridge and finishing by the Leys Brook outfall.
Please note that river fishing is not permitted between 15 March and 15 June (inclusive), as outlined in the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act (1975).
Please enter the park via the main entrance to obtain your day ticket from the fishing lodge ticket machine prior to fishing.
ALL fish must be returned to the river, NEVER put them into our lakes.
