Canal Pool is a 17-acre water that holds the biggest common carp recorded so far at the fishery at 44lbs (recorded April 2024). Our approach has been to trickle stock this lake over the years with home-grown fish and fish brought in from top suppliers such as VS Fisheries. This has resulted in the accumulation of numerous 20lb+ carp, as well as a good selection of high 30s (with some destined to reach the sought-after 40lb+ mark!).
This water is weedy but clear, giving rise to stunning dark fish.
